Medical School Application Timeline: A 12-Month Roadmap

AMCAS opens in early May and the cycle stretches over 12+ months. Here is the month-by-month timeline from the year before you apply through interview day.

24+ Months Out: Foundation

Before the application cycle begins, your foundation determines what you can apply with:
